When we import car from Canada to USA for TN visa, we have to pay taxes 2.5 percent or can we avoid if the car is Manufactured in Canada because of NAFTA?
Do we have pay import duty when i come back with same Canadian car back in Canada after few years?
There is a process to import a car (see CBP website), which you need to follow. CBP will determine tax if any. Exporting back from US to Canada will not result in any duty.
