I am talking to a potential employer who is willing to offer part time ( 10 - 15 hours a week ) remote job from US. I live in Canada and I am Canadian citizen and have the IT degree to TN visa.

I know for W2 its very straight forward.

1) if the job is 10-15 hours I might not quality for TN visa , correct ?
2) Its a remote job so if I dont need TN visa how can I handle 1099, if it was C2C I could use my Canadian corp to transfer funds but 1099 means sole contractor.

If you are working in Canada, there is no need for any US immigration status. They simply pay you as a contractor, or corp to corp.

But if you work physically in US, regardless of the number of hours, you need either a B2 or TN entry status, and if you and job qualify, you will get one.
