My mom (canadian citizen) is planing to come to USA and live in USA for a year. She is >65 yrs. Does anyone recommand any health insurance, she cannot get Medicare from US (she is not US citizen) and most of the health insurance company does not sell health insurance for people older than 65 yrs.

What provincial health coverage does she have? Some provinces provide medical coverage in the US for limited duration.

It's important to note that they will typically pay up to the amount they would pay in Canada for the same service. In the US the costs are typically much higher, and she would be on the hook for the difference. Additionally, many provinces terminate health coverage after 180 days outside Canada.
