Can parents travel on visitor's visa while I-130 pending?

Hi,

I intend to apply for my parents GC in February. They intend to travel to the US in June with no intent of staying here permanently on this visit.

Should I hold off on sending in the GC application until their visit? If yes, until they get here or until they have left?
