I have a very basic question. Can my I-485 application with
local INS be active while applying for CP at Bombay. From Rajiv\'s
note at the top it seems like it cannot be if I-824 is applied.
I am new to this, and am not sure if I need to apply I-824 to get
CP at Bombay.
According to my attorney, I can keep my I-485 active and hence
have the EAD and travel parole active, when I go for my CP interview.
He says that for Bombay there is no need to stop the I-485. As
you all would understand why I am concerned with this, I would
appreciate it if I can get some clarifications.
