Can both spouses have two (separate) TN visas?

Hi there,

planning to move to the US for work. Both Canadian citizens, both have job offers in the US. The question is - can we both receive our own TN statuses? Looks like there is nothing that would prohibit that, but I couldn't find any description of a similar situation. Normally, there is a principal applicant on a TN and the rest of the family are considered dependents - and they only qualify for TD status which doesn't allow work. But what if the dependent wants to get their own TN status?
