To BigJoe5 and Triple Citizen, just wanted to give you guys an update. The result for my extension application came in today and it was stated in the letter that since I left before my I-94 expired, the application does not have an effect. Technically it is denied. But this is good news, right? It just totally confirms what you have both told me that there would be no issues at the POE on my next visit since I did not violate any immigration law.
