Hi.

I have been staying in US for about 3 1/2 months on B1/B2 visa which is void ( I got only 2 months VISA) but I got stamped for 6 months on my I 94. At first I have planned to go back to my country once I am done with my exam. But, now I am getting good opportunities that will help me in my career. So I am planning to extend my I 94. Do you think its a good idea? Or do I have to go back to my country and apply for another VISA?

1. The visa is irrelevant now that you are in the U.S. So let's ignore that.
2. So you want to stay for longer than the 6 months on your I-94? Yes, you can try to apply for an extension. I am not sure what you mean by "getting good opportunities that will help me in my career". I am not sure that that's a legitimate reason. If they deny it you will have to go back and apply for another visa.

What justification are you going to present as a reason to extend your stay?
