Nope ... Same Old ..Same Old

Not yet,

I am waiting for it eagerly...I saw couple of cases approved for July'04 in this forum. I hope this will be our turn.

It would take 5-6 months for Aug'2004

I talked to my lawyer. He said with the current rate, I 140 filed in EB3 category and in Aug' 2004 would take about 5-6 months. So I guess it is bit early to get eager and excited.
Thanks.

Sep'2004 __ I-140, EB3, Concurrent

Iam also waiting for approval I-140.
Is there anyhing update in UR cases?

Does the 5-6 months timeframe applicable for Concurrent filers too? My RD for I-140/485 is April 22 2004. Still no news from the NSC on my I140.

Hi Mahesh,
But my friends also applied with me, one of them got clear I-140 last month. Some friends who applied before us still they didn't get. I am confused

From the discussion I had with the INS officer two weeks back, I could see two reasons for their early approval.

1. PD may be earlier.
2. Was told the immigration officers working on the cases will pick some of the cases randomly just like a dice.

There is nothing like concurrent processing now

Hi

I understand from my lawyer that if I140 is not been approved before Jan 2005 then there is nothing as "concurrent" processing now. I140 and I485 would get processed seperately.
Definitely there is a confusion with the NSC. No idea how they process and how they pick up the cases. It would good idea that all of us talk to some Lawyers and request the NSC to throw some light on the processing dates. e.g. on the immigration site if you would go the I140 and I485 dates are showing Aug'2003. And these dates are not at all moved ahead in past 6 - 8 months. But I still see on this this forum that most of the people in April'04 are getting their cases cleared. If that is the case then probably NSC may be still processing some cases in Aug'03. But some officers may have started clearing cases ahead! I guess we need to have some more fields on the website (http://www.immigration.com/frame/nationalprfr.html).
like
No. of cases received within the current processing month and no. of cases cleared in the current processing month. also, we can request NSC to clear all the cases pending since Aug' 03. If they have cleared all the cases till Mar'04 then they could probably update the "current processing date".
If there is a site admin here we can request him/her to talk to Mr. Rajiv Khanna who could send a letter to NSC and clarify this situation.
Thanks.

Please give me answers to my questions

Hi,
Anybody tells me what is the difference between EB2 and EB3?Is there any disadvantages in EB3 filing?Anybody got cleared I-140 who applied in Sep 2004 in EB3 concurrent filing? Is it possible to change EB3 to EB2 after getting EAD?
