Thanks beautifulorchid! I think you saw my timeline at the beginning of this thread!

Not sure if you went through the GC nightmare but it took 3.5 years for the DL to approve my labor certificate in NYC.

I think my journey is going fast because Syracuse, NY does not have much people compared to NYC when it comes to fingerprinting appointment, there were no-one literally there when I went into the office, it was almost like they were waiting for me to come. Having said that, it helps because then once this process goes through so fast, the interview part will be sooner as well.

Thanks attyeuly! Good luck with the interview and I am glad this journey is coming to an end. Not sure if I want to go through this journey (GC & Citizenship) again had I knew the time, effort and the stress involved!

Thank you Koosh! fortunately I had a great experience throughout my GC and I am staying positive that I will have similar experience. I remembered for my GC interview the IO asked me two questions which included how my hubby and I met and then went and asked the regular questions from the form. He told me the minute we walked in, he can tell it was legitimate and he approved it on spot with a stamp in passport the same day. Everything took 5 months, and I lived NYC back then. Thank God I am almost done and I pray thae it go smoothly to the end. You will be fine this time, just stay positive and everything will be fine.

Does anyone know whether the officer schedule your oath ceremony based on the calendar because there is actually a judicial ceremony (added my maiden name) in the court 30 mins away from syracuse, in Utica the same week of my interview. Will I have to wait for longer or is it possible to go to the ceremony same week if possible

Well done! Not sure. I remember several years ago the spouse of one my friends attended the oath ceremony immediately after passing her interview in Newark. Not sure if this is common.
