i got GC through my employer in feb 2005. i got married after my GC was filled (2001). so i included my wife in the case later on in august 2002.
this 14th we were interviewd in NY city office for my wife's GC.
they didnot approved our case , put in pending.
Reason, the interivew taker gave that " every thing is ok but, "PTIORITY DATE OF MY I 140 (i.e; APRIL 24, 2001) ARE NOT CURRENT" so he cannot approve my case and we have to wait till the date becomes current and he will approve our case when dates will cuurent.
Anyone has an idea what does this mean? and when I 140 date will be current. Responses will be appreciated , thanks.
