It is my understanding that the Continous Residence still applies. In the rare event of ur oath delayed by over 6 months, your leaving for over 6 months at a time can have an impact..
Otherwise leaving for a short break wont have a diff (check ur mail though!)

AFTER the date you were first interviewed on your Application for Naturalization,
Form N-400:

2.Have you traveled outside the United States?(after interview..)
3.blahblah..
so, if i checked YES then what will happen? delay again??
what do you think guys?

You are going to carry that letter TO THE OATH CEREMONY. So they will take a look at it and that is it. Once you get an oath letter, why delay?
There is nothing that can delay unless you cooperated with bin Laden and applied for his green card - What a joke!

Please don't make a big fuss about nothing!
At the oath ceremony, they will ask you again the dates of travel outside of the US between interview and oath, just for their records to make sure you have not broken the residency requirements. That is all !!!
You are free to travel (between interview and oath, you still have your green card). Do not be out of the US for 6 months and do not miss the oath date: those should be your only concerns.

You are free to travel, but you CANNOT claim to be a US citizen when you travel.
