After Divorce do i need to inform US consulate in india for L1 visa

Hello,

I am on L1 and my spouse was on L2 dependent, due to some issues we got divorced.
Can you please do let me know on the following.
1. do i need to inform US consulate regarding my divorcee
2. this is because i am getting married again so my new spouse should not face any problems as my ex-spouse has L2 visa on my L1.
If my new spouse carries my divorce decree will be fine at the time of interview.

You are right to be concerned. Would your ex try to use it illegally? If yes, then informing them would be a good idea. CYA--Cover Your A**!!!
 
A1: No
A2: Your ex-spouse's L-2 visa is now null and void. Your current spouse should not have an issue getting an L-2 visa. Just make sure all marriage certificates and divorce decrees are carried to the interview.
