Affidavit of support question

Hi,

I am applying GC for my mom. But since I am not working now, we have to qualify based on my husband's income. In this case who has to file the affidavit of support. Do We both have to sign it or is it just him???

he's not related to your mom.

you are the sponsor so you must sign.

you fill out the I-864 and your husband fills out the I-864A.

Both must be notorized.

he needs to provide all the same things you do like a b/c.

be sure to provide copies of tax forms, w2's and he needs to get a letter from his employer.
