Affidavit of support I-864 (Urgent)

My wife is USC, i am inthe process of filling I-864 form. My wife never worked in USA. We have been married for couple of years. I only have two years of joint tax return to show INS. Do i need to fill out I-864 A (Supplement form) or can i just show statement for joint checking account. Anyone with the experience please comment.

Affidavit of Support

I filed one several years ago on behalf of a relative. All what I did was fill out the form, notarize it (with a notary public), attach a couple of pay stubs, and that was it. My relative was applying for his immigrant visa at a US consulate somewhere in Europe (do not remember exactly where). He had no problem getting his visa.
