Situation:
Currently working with employer-A on TN (1-yr still left to renewal). Employer-A petitioned for H1b and got selected in lottery. A much better opportunity with Employer-B has come up (tentative start date Employer-B wants is in June by which time H1b would likely be approved for Employer-A).

Questions: (1) is it possible to get a TN for Employer-B (for the July-Sept period) even though H1b is approved? (2) come Oct-1, can the H1b be easily transferred to Employer-B?
 
Not exactly advice. You want answers.
1. of course. they are completely separate.
2. "easy?" No. they would have to petition for an H1-B, but would not be subject to the cap lottery. You would need to stay on TN until second H1 approved. But this question is best dealt with by the H1-B forum. Your question should center on H1 portability without having worked under the approved h1.
