I have my I-140 approved through company A and my priority date is May 2010.
I recently changed my job to company B and they have agreed to file PERM/I-140.
The new company has applied for my H1, and though I joined after we received the H1 receipt, the H1 approval is yet to come.
The new company is pretty slow in filing for my PERM and it would probably take couple of more monthe before they start it.
I still maintain good relation with my company A and they have promised not to cancel the I-140.
Since the date for EAD has become current, what are my options here?
1. Do I have to go back to Company A on H1 to file for EAD?
2. Can I stay with my current employer and still file for EAD based on I-140 from company A? Do I need any documents from company A?
