Where should a person apply for naturalization if they move prior to naturalization eligibility date i.e 90 days? Can they apply in the old place of residence, move and then change the adress with INS or is it better to apply in the new place? The service center changes. Can anybody help please. Thank you.

According to the INS policies, if you move in to another INS district( another state ?), you have to live in the new place for at least 90 days before you can apply for citizenship. And if you have already applied for citizenship and moved in to another INS district, you need to call INS and give them your new address. INS will forward your application to the nearest INS office of your current address. However, the processing time will still be the same as it is in your previous address/state. Thanks.
