Hi everyone and Administrators of the site. I received citizenship interview letter after 13 months, I applied. My case was domestic violence based case. And I got divorced before 2 years of completion period. But Immigration officer told me that I do qualify to apply for 10 years GC. After succeful interview I received Permanent GC. Then I applied for citizenship and interview done after 13 months I applied for citizenship. I was told that it's taking long because of more back ground check. Then I passed interview for citizenship and was told to wait for Oath, not more than 30 days. IO told me I passed it successfully. Today 8th months have been passed, I didn't receive any letter for Oath. I visited USCIS Office in Newark NJ, several times. They said i need to wait, its in check. On this stage what should I do? I wrote a letter to Senator, and the same answer, that I should wait.
Already it took 13 months for interview, now 8th months passed and no Oath. Please help me and guide me.
