We're from the UK, although my wife was born in Germany. She received NL last week, all forms promptly returned.

Nice low case number too: 2008EU0000002x

Hopefully this will mean interview October.

We do also have an approved L1 visa (as in approved by USCIS) but waiting for the Embassy to approve, so with any luck this will come through shortly, then we might be a AOS rather then CP.

Is there a way to predict the timeframe?

I have a pre-arranged need to go to the US in Jan 08 - is there any chance that if all goes to plan I could 'check in' while I am over there or is that way too soon?

What is the normal time period of the whole DV process?

Oh no

Looking at that I have basically no hope - all of the numbers are so low.

Translating those does that mean on the off chance that if I was to get an interview going on past results I would get notification of this around August?

Sorry I am just so very totally new to this!
