I have some serious doubts. My situation is as follows.
1. In 2005 April company A processed my new H1b visa( I was in India).
- It got processed and approved by august or so.
2. I never exercised the H1 from company A.
3. In fact in November 2005 I came on an L1 through my present employer B.
4. Since then I have been working in US on L1 thru company B.
5. Now I have got an offer from comapny C. Company C cannot do anything with my exisiting L1 visa. The only thing they can do is file a new H1 , working on which can start only from 1st oct 2006.
Somebody told me that if company C talks to company A( who hold my H1) and with their mutual negotiation can get me transferred first to H1 from A and then a transfer from A to C. That can help me in joining much earlier than 1st oct 2006.
I am basically looking for a solution in which my previous H1 can be used to give me a H1 for company C and I should be able to work before oct 2006.
Please let me know about this. This is very very important so please give your advice.
