good morning, my wifes I 94 expired 2 days ago. we were married 2 months ago (in January it is currently March) but just got the money together to file the AOS. what do i do? I was going to just put the I485 in the mail but im afraid it might cause issues
There are no issues. The spouse of a US citizen is in the Immediate Relative category, and does not need to be in status to file AOS. How long they may have been out of status doesn't matter. Make sure she answers Yes on I-485 part 8 #17.

It's not a big deal. I mean, they already know her I-94 is expired because she already entered her I-94 expiration date on the form. It's not like she is hiding the information. In the worst case, they might send it back and have her re-file it.
