Urgent! H1B Stamping in US
Hello, I have F1 visa stamped on my passport. I never had H1b stamped, could I get H1B stamped within US (if I have the approval letter) or do I have to leave US to get the VISA stamped?

No, you cannot get the new H1 visa stamped within US since you do not have an expired or expiring H1 visa. You will have to go to a US consulate either in your country or Canada/Mexico to get a new visa.

Thank you very much for your response. What you mean by "expiring H1 visa". My H1b is expiring in feb 2004 but i never got it stamped.

Since ur prev visa waa F1 and now u are in H1 - change os status - u cannot get it stamped in US.
