H1 validity while on Severance pay
Hi friends,
I got laid off on March 31st,03 having pay stubs for the same period. My company is paying severance till April 31st and would pay me semimonthly salary for April (like I used to get before). This means i'm going to get my last pay stub on April 31st. Now my questions are: 1. Is the severance pay stubs are valid to file for H1 transfer. ? 2. Does the company has to keep the H1 valid till the time they are giving me severance pay ? I am relly confused about this and would really appreciate if someone with similar experience reply to my queries.. Thanks guys..
