Change of address after PR...Help Please!!

Hi,

Looks like I have been ignorant of the fact that I needed to fill out an AR-11 form for my address change. I got my GC in Mar'99 and changed addresses 3 times - Feb'00, Mar'00, Mar '02!! Will I be penalized for having failed to fill out AR-11? My parents are coming to visit in April and I am worried that they might get deported at POE (Chicago) becoz of our failure to fill out AR-11 (They came last time in Nov'02 and didn't seem to have a problen at POE). I just read a post about how someone's parents were humiliated and deported for failure to fill out AR-11. Any advices please??? I am planning to fill out AR-11 and fedex it out.

Thanks,
smg

Fastest way?

Hi ****,

It's only recently that I have been visiting this forum. I am a very law abiding person and I usually try to stay abreast of things. But looks like I somehow missed this...I know I saw this in the news...but I thought that requirement for registration, etc was for non-immigrants. I am sure there are quite a lot of people like who aren't aware of this filling out an AR-11 AFTER getting the GC!!

The post I was refering to is http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?threadid=77733
I think it is real...there's no reason for someone to lie/mislead..

So, my question is - should I fill out an AR-11 now? What's the fastest way to send it (fedex??). I dont want to get into trouble now (after sending AR-11).

Thanks
