Please Help: Bring Spouse to the US

Dear Immigration Experts,

I am new to this forum and I am glad my friend told me about it, so please accept my apology if my question has been asked many times.

I am an Indonesian and a green card holder. I will interview for citizenship in April 2003. I'm also planning on getting married later in the year. My fiancee lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. I've done some research as to what is the best/fastest way for my fiancee to be with me in the US (we will live in the US after we get married). We're fairly open when it comes to where to get married although our families prefer that we get married in Indonesia. I should also mention that she has a valid tourist visa.

Now, based on my research, and please don't hesitate to correct me, here is a list of the things I could do:

1. I can apply for Fiancee visa (I129F) after I become a citizen (can I do so on the day I take the oath? Or interview??), she will come here, we'll go to the city's clerk, get a marriage certificate and she'll apply for adjustment of status. I think this is the fastest way.

2. I go back to Indonesia for 3-4 weeks and get married there. We then go in person to the US Embassy in Jakarta and file for I-130. Is this allowed when I actually live in the US? How long does it generally take before she gets a visa to come here?

As I mentioned this would be the way to satisfy our families, but time may be a constraint as I cannot be there during the whole process, which I would think takes more than a month (do I need to?).

3. She comes here on her tourist visa, we get married and then we apply for her adjustment of status. I think this means she won't be allowed to travel out of the US unless she applies for advance parole, correct?

If you could please comments, suggest, share experiences etc etc. I prefer that we be together after we get married, but from what I've read here, the chances are not that good.

Sorry for a long post, please enlighten me...I've been confused for a while now

Thanks a lot in advance.
