Spouse and child leaving after GC
My souse decided to go to India and live there. This is for the better education and culutural upbringing for my child. We all have GC. I will be staying here and working as usual. My spouse and child will visit me during their annual vacation for two months in a year. That means there will be a gap of 10 months between their residence.
I have planned to visit them for a month during my annual vacation so that I do not miss my family for more than 5 months in a row. Q.1. Will my spouse and child will be allowed to renenter just on their plastic card GC? Or do they have to apply for REP? Q.2. Will there be any problem in future? Will officer at POE deny entry any time during their annual visits? Q.3.How do I paln this so as to maintain their GC status? Q.4. Will this have any effect on MY 5 y residency for citizenship? I intend to take up citizenship while my spouse and child will have GC. Thanks in advance. PS: Any +ve or -ve comments are welcome. I will not quote anyone and will take the advice prudently.
