H1 visa for consultant.

Hi,

I am working as a full time employee in a company with H1B visa. Right now I want to be a consultant to another company, for 10 hours a month. Do I need to apply for another H1B visa to do it?. They have written that Tax things have be sorted out by us and I wont be a W2, therefore they dont have to give H1B. Can you please direct me as to what I should do?.

Paresh.

It seems like its unofficial working. What you get would be black money( if you don't pay tax). If you want to pay tax - you need to show source for the income to the IRS. One way to work this out is - they pay your current company and you get paid from your company. That way you can work as many you like.
