Why have there been so few post lately?

I don't think the reason is that all topics have been discussed
because there are always new comers who never participated in
this forum before they get the green card.

Maybe the reason is that due to bad economy, fewer and
fewer people are getting the green card. Besides, in the
past, everyone was waiting for the moment to change jobs
at the time of getting green card so that you could
see a lot of discussion about when to change jobs after
GC. But now I suspect there are not many job around
so that the best way is to stick with your blood sucking
GC sponsor because a underpaid job is better than no
job at all.

Fewer people getting their green cards is definitely one of the reasons. Regarding CSC, the last big set of approvals was around Sept of last year (when I got mine), but since then, it's been an agonizing trickle for the waiters...ostensibly in the name of added security. Don't know how much of the above is true, or whether it's ineptitude on the part of INS or if they're looking to actually curb immigration.

Re: fewer posts

1. Sluggish economy => fewer immigrants
2. immigrationportal.com must have changed ISP, since last month I have been unable to access this site from my office. Maybe others are having similar problems.

I know that my home ISP Comcast is very stupid. They don't understand 192.*.*.* IP addresses. (192.168.*.* is for private internets, and they should ignore the latter rather than the former. Comcast employees on this forum, please note )

my 2c.
