Starting a Business(Jim F and others Pl help)...

1) I am on H1-B and want to do start software consulting business keeping the present H1-B and working for the sponsred company. basically consulting would be an side business kind of a deal.

Here are the issues I forsee :

1) If I have to sponsor somebody for H1-B. As an owner of the company can I sign the legal documents for H1-B.

2) With the earlier posts I understand that I will hire a CPA for the Tax purposes. As an owner of the company I will not be working for the company. But can I sign the documents like quaterly taxes and yearly taxes forms from the IRS. As a small company I cannot hire as of now one person to sign the documents.

Your help is highly appreciated...

****,

About signing papers. ****, Don't you think you can atleast be an honorary officer (and not draw salary) of the company and strictly work ocassionally for the company, like signing papers?

Thanks
