Immigration and Incorporation

Guys,

I am in the process of finding a lawyer for the incorporation purposes. I do have some question pertaining to implication on the immigration process(I485 Applied- Already 9 Months).

If go for an Immigration attorney, Would they know anything about Inc and the requirements. And If go for an Inc kind attorney, Would they know anything about immigration related issues.

Seems I need 2 lawyers.....Am I doing OK or taking it too seriously

Best way to do it is...

contact a CPA/Accountant/Lawyer who can help u set up a corporation.

I would suggest to do your homework before you meet these people as they might charge by hr OR even by the whole process of Inc

I am currently doing my homework...There is this book called "Inc Yourself" by Judith H McQouwn. U can find this book in a public library. You can buy this book in stores for approx 25$.

You can create your corporation all by yourself without spending a lot of money. Just read the book and do the needful. OUt of pocket cost is only the state fees. BUT BUT BUT....I strongly recommend talking to acc/cpa or laywer. They can look at your current situation(like who works in your home...What u earn..whats your tax bracket...What kind of Structure suits your business ....does your spouse earn...)

They can suggest the best thing that suits you situation.

Well, I am not an expert....I just doing my home work....Hopefully will be able to start by Newyr.

thanks Green_guru, I will go thru the book soon. Do you have any idea howmuch the cpa/lawyer will charge ? just want to get an idea. I'm planning to start a inc. to work myself and possibly my wife also will work thru it. But may be in future i may hire 2-3 people to work thru my company. Basically the business is nothing but software consultancy.

Thanks again

Arkr
