Important : H1 - H4 - H1
I had an H1B in june and then lost my job and I got transferred to H4 in sept but recently got an job offer and the company is processing the h4 - H1b
but my previous h1B is valid until nov 2003 my previous lawyer said that I can use the portability law of h1b transfer where I can join after I get the receipt. Is that True ???? Any one who has been through similar situation. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
