EAD on I-130

Hi,

My friend applied for I-130, 2 year back, when his wife was Greencard holder.

Now His wife has become a US citizen. So, what is the fastest way to get a work authorization for him?

I-130 decision has not been approved yet. Is there any other form need t be filled (e.g. ). Can he file again under Life act ??

Re: EAD on I-130

His wife needs to send the Service Center / Disrict office a letter telling them of her change in status which will make his I130 priority date to current.

He should then be able to apply for an I485 / I765 (EAD) if needed.

Hope that helps.
