Interesting news I heard, not sure though....

I heard from one of my friends, not sure though. If my child is a US citizen, and if I am a GC holder, then he said that I can apply for citizenship 3 yrs from the time my GC is approved, and need not wait for the regular 5 yrs. Is it true ? I am unable to see any info supporting this, so I just wanted to get your comments on this. thanks

I doubt it. Many GCers had their children born in the
USA but I never see them become citizens at 3 years.
If law allowed it, I would see it in real life
