Car Seat Problem

This is not exactly a law question but since I believe many of you
travel a lot so that you may enlighten me on this:

(1) How to arrange a car seat for kids in bus, train, taxi?

(2) If I travel internationally, how do I know in advance
about the car seat law in the country I plan to visit?

(3) Have you expreienced of carrying a car seat with you?
I am used to kids siiting in a car seat so that even the country
I am going to visit does not have such a requirement, I
want to bring a car seat for the safety of kid.
