824 status after CP!!!
Hi,
I am in a strange situation after my CP. In sept 2001 i have applied for I-824 to change my GC processing from AOS to CP.I got the 824 receipt and applied for AC I-140 at mumbai consulate.Got my CP in March. Also got my plastic card in April.Nowi have received a letter from INS saying that my I-824 had been denied because it has been signed by me not my employer. Does 824 matters because i have my GC already now.Please help.Did anyone face same situation. Regards,
