Job Change after GC!!!

This question is widely debated. I just want to refresh viewers thoughts!!

I got my GC in April 2002. I started my job with the company. However my company is acquired by another company and it is expected to complete by September end.

In this situation, does my contracts with previous company are carried forward to the new company. For example if my old company made me sign an agreement to stay for one year after GC is it still good with the new company? Will I be asked to write a new contract?

If I leave my job due to any reason with the new company am I obligated in any way?

Dude,

Job change is a problem only if your company complains to INS. As long as nobody cares you are free to go wherever you want.

One more thing most of the managers know squat about immigration laws.
