H1 extension after GC approval

Hello,

I got the I-485 approval last week and got the stamp on the passport.
My question is that I have applied for an extension of H-1B visa because the old one was to expired at that time.
It is still pending.
Now, what happens if I get a notice of extension approval?
Just ignore it? need any action such as to cancel it?
Any info will be helpful.

Thank you for the answer.

I would wait for their decision, and ignore it, rather than to be bothered by sending the withdrawal letter and confusing them.
Is this what you would do if you were I?
