Hi all:

Is it ok to file for Unemplymrnt insurane even if the unemplyment strated before getting the GC (as a dependent)?

No problem. Especially when the person is dependent in I-485 application, he/she does not have to worry about applying
for UI would create a record that he/she did not work for
teh sponsor at the GC approval.

You need to file UI as soon as possible. There is a
time limit within which you have to file

I worked for my own LLC?? Can I claim unemployment benefits?

Is there any impact on the citizenship application later on if you claim unemployment benefits ?
