Need help..I-140 approved, H1B expiring Sep 30
I am on my first term of H1B and my visa is expiring on 30th Sep 2009. I have an approved i-140 and i am filling for 485 with in two weeks. My question is if I am not able to get a project till sep 30th, I can not get an extension on H1B for another 3 years.
1- Is it OK not to extend H1B( for next three years) as I have EB2 catagory which is current for pakistan? One of my friend from pakistan got green card in three months. 2- If some problem comes up on i-485 latter, can I apply for renewal of H1B then?
