I-485 urgent

Hi All,

I've received RFE on my I-485 concurrently filed with I-140 (approved).

Word by word:

"On your Form I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status, you visited a Civil Surgeon in New York; however, you have never claimed residence in New York. Please explain why your medical exam was completed in New York and not Indiana."

The reason for this was that, I was on bench during that time when I filed for the application (during July fiasco) and I was staying/visiting my relatives. I thought it better during that time to get it done from NY instead of Indiana ( permanent address)

What valid reason I can give them for this RFE?

Just tell them the truth, and may be send some proof that your relatives are in NY and may be have your relative write an affidavit saying that you are using their address as your permanent address. Good luck
