Almost had a heart attack

I almost had a heart attack today when talked to the USCIS 1800 customer service rep...

I sent my I-751 application to USCIS Vermont Service Center over a month ago, and didn't receive anything back from them...I called them several times to see what happened to my application...I managed to get my receipt # , yet this showed nothing online...I was told to wait patiently to get both the receipt and biometric notice...but yet, weeks have gone by, and I still don't receive anything in the mail...

I called once again today, and this time I learned of the shocking news... The lady this time on the phone told me for some reasons only God knows, the system showed a different address that didn't match with my address on the form and my current address where I'm living right now. It was unbelievable because last time I called them, my CORRECT address was verified and everything, I was told just to wait....I thought it might be the other house I used to live before filing I-751...by the way, FYI, I filed online AR-11 to change the address to the correct current one months before the I-751 submission...still, none of these addresses matched whatever they had in the system....She refused to tell me what the hell was the address shown in the system....

Please don't get me wrong because I repeated to her very carefully my name, my A#, DOB, and even to the point of my mother's maiden name....she still said it was a different address....it was in the same city, but just a different house!

Finally, she typed up a notice letter to whoever in VSC taking care of my case that there was a problem with the addresses. She said it would take up to 30 days (!!!) for USCIS to review this notice and upon reviewing, they will send a letter to my CORRECTED address to explain situation....

I'm extremely nervous right now as I don't whether they have sent out the receipt notice & biometric notice to me yet or not ...the phone rep couldn't confirm this...

OMG, I can't understand what the hell is going on....what frustrated me is all I have to do is waiting....I made an Infopass on Friday to get my passport stamped serving as a proof for my green card's extension...For sure, I'm gonna ask questions to the local office rep, but how much will they able to answer me or just like the phone rep?

Nobody comments on why and what caused this whole mess?! Can it be something wrong with my Social Security's address? Am I a victim of identity theft? I would want to assume that it was just a simple typo of USCIS when entering my data....but the address is in the same city, yet two totally different house # and different street....that can't be just due to typo!

all I can tell you that it is funny because yesterday i had EXACTLY the same situation. Gave her A# and MSC# and then address, she said wrong address, she fixed it in the system I have no idea why after those years main office would have my old address, my spouse called twice plus AR11 was filled in, THEN she is telling me my social does not match... CRAZYNESS !! but overall she told me my case is in locaol office and such a details do not really matter regarding case progress.. they are important but she assumes local office has a better data on my file. she said those typos like that are likely to keep case pending.
