J1 Visa 2 yr home requirement & DHS
I had a questiong on behalf of my boyfriend. He is here till the end of April on a J1 Visa but still has couple of bills he didnt pay off. Must he clear everything before he leaves or can he make payments from India? Is DHS going to slow down his Waiver process if he does not take care of that before he leaves? Anyone know the answer or a site where I can read about this?

If you do not pay your bill "intentionally", it may not affect your J1 waiver application, but these companies may report them to Credit Companies, to affect your credit history, if you still want to live in US later.
