AC21 - How long does it take
Hi,

Once I filed for the AC21 transfer of priority date, how long does it take normally? I know there is nothing like "normally" with INS. Can any one please help me with this question so that I could prepare my mind when to expect a decision.

There is no such thing "AC21 transfer of priority date"... please explain.

AC21 is provision that you can change to similar job if 140 is approved and 485 is pending for more than 180 days. You do nothing... if RFE is issued then you respond invoking AC21 if needed for responding to RFE. Other than you just wait.

Thanks for the reply. May be I got confused with AC21 and Transfer of Priority date. Probably I need to ask my question in another forum.
