Past J2; Now H1B ???
Hi,
I was a J2 dependent on my wife's J1 for 6 months from June 2007-Dec 2007. My wife left her medical residency after her fist 6 months and we returned home immediately after that in Jan 2008. I went back to USA in my B1/B2 visitor visa in April 2008 to apply for my medical residency and I got matched in March 19, 2009. Currently we are in our home country. We had a 2 year HRR on our J1/J2 in 2007 but my wife never completed her residency training. My hospital is sponsoring H1B visa for my residency coming in July 2009. My wife is ready to stay here in my country for another 2 years to fulfill her 2 year HRR. Do I qualify for H1B??? My hospital only offers H1B. What to do?? Very stressful time. Any suggetions would be greatly appreciated... thanks
