J1-Research to J1-Clinical Transfer and Waiver
Hello,
I have finished my degree in medicine from India(MBBS) and have a J1-Research visa to join a research program for one year. At the end of this one year (in 2010), will I be able to apply for a residency match (sponsorship for J1-Clinical) ? In case, I get a J1-Clinical sponsorship, - will I be able to transfer ? - what are the waivers and do I have to be out of the country for one year ? Has anyone been thru this siatuation ? Pls. help regards, Dr. Mohanty
