Acceptable reasons for requesting Advance Parole
I will be applying for GC for my future wife once I get my citizenship. Waiting for my oath letter
 In applying for advance parole what are some of the generally acceptable reasons? Can I say planning to visit family and friends with some rough dates? Is that a valid reason for requesting AP? Thanks

When you apply for an Advance Parole document (i-131) and you have an I-485 pending you DO not need to provide answers to several of the questions in the form I-131, including the "reason" for the trip and certainly not the separate piece of paper explaining the trip.
It is all there, in the instructions.
