I-131 Reentry Permit Situation
I've been a permanent resident for about 4 and half years and am leaving for India in a couple of weeks. I have not applied for I-131.
Can I apply for I-131 for myself and my wife, (either myself or through an attorney) while in India and come back to US for the biometrics? If not what other options do I have? Thanks.

You must be in the US when you apply, and you must be here for the biometrics. It'll take about a month from start to finish.
