would like to surrender GC for multiple entry
My parents has GC and Now they are in India for last 9 months and they will not be coming next 3 months. We did not file re-entry for them to stay outside US for more then 1 year however I would like for them to have flexibility to come USA and visit us. By reading some of the comment on this forum, I understood that they can surrender GC and apply for multiple entry visa.
Can someone advice me on how to surrender and apply for multiple entry visa? Is there any forms to surrender GC and for multiple entry visa? Do we need to get consulate appointment for visa and surrendering GC? Thanks in advance

Form I-407 is to officially surrender their GC at a consulate.
Once that has been done, applying for a tourist visa is done separately using the same form that everybody else uses to get a tourist visa, DS-156.
