Re-Entry Permit Processing Times

Hi All,

Can those of you who have recently applied for a re-entry permit please shed some light on how long the application took? I am trying to ascertain a processing time for LIN - as they seem to think they are doing it in under 3 months!

If you can provide the application date and the received date - that would be more than sufficient.

Thanks!

Woosterlad saw just yesterday that his RP is in the post after 1 month of processing. But, he asked for expedited service. Still, it seems that most people are getting it as fast as he did with regular processing.

Hmm.

I got mine (but years ago) at the time I had my interview for the GC. Was valid for a year and took 5 min as it was done by the IO. I would very strongly suggest that everyone does it at that time, no matter if you need it or not. Just to cover unforseeable circumstances. They didn't charge me anything.
